About Silent Disco
The SILENT DISCO is a unique and fun event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, we broadcast music via a radio transmitter with
the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants. Those without the headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to nothing which in itself is hilarious. Participants can personally switch their headphone receivers to one of three channels of different genera of music our DJ is playing at simultaneously. Silent discos are popular at music festivals as they allow dancing to continue past noise curfews.
THE SILENT DISCO phenomenon has become very popular for high-end events and festivals as a way of keeping the party going late into the night, without fear of distractions or breaking noise restrictions. However, the unique and fun experience is no longer
just reserved for those events with big budgets or expensive ticketed music festivals. Mark Bell Presents has produced for WOW Attractions an economical but incredible touring attraction the likes that fairs have yet to experience. Completely turn key with DJ's, and wireless transmitters, stage and trussing system with an amazing moving LED light show with special effects including lasers, UV lighting, hazers, etc. There is even a full video projection with giant screens to complete the visual attraction. Late afternoons can include a Kids Silent Disco with their favorite musical characters singing and dancing via the video projection. The touring production will hit the road in 2017. This unforgettable musical experience can play in just about any venue indoors or out or in it's own venues which includes either a huge open air high peak circus tent or a inflated closed in air dome. Standard Silent Disco packages range from 300 to 500 participants but can cover as many as 3,000 if desired.
