About the Show
The CCR Band is the most authentic Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute touring today. The raw sound of their music takes you back to the late '60s and early '70s when a young John Fogerty's raspy voice flooded the airwaves with hit after hit making everyone think the band was straight from a bayou in southern Louisiana. The CCR Band emulates Creedence musical style encompassing Southern rock, swamp rock, blues rock, country rock, and blue-eyed soul. This staged time capsule weaves you from Woodstock in 1969 through the Vietnam War while featuring all their hits including Fogerty’s solo hits like “The Old Man Down the Road”, “Centerfield”, and Rock and Roll Girls” just to name a few.
About The CCR Band
Andy Wolff – lead vocals, lead guitar, harmonica, organ, piano. There is only one person that sounds more like John Fogerty, and that’s John Fogerty! As the frontman for The CCR Band, Andy recreates the growling lead vocals of John Fogerty, as well as the stinging lead guitar on all the songs they perform. Andy sites John Fogerty as one of his major influences in playing music.
Paul Cherwonick – rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, backing vocals. Paul takes great pride in capturing the trademark sound
that defined rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, as well as providing
harmony vocals that made the songs such as DOWN ON THE CORNER, MIDNIGHT SPECIAL, and HEY TONIGHT. Paul's musical influences include the classic Country & Western songs alongside the Rock n' Roll of the 1950s and 1960s.
Arek Chamski – bass guitar, backing vocals, washtub bass. Arek can play a variety of bass styles from Motown to Country. Arek is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist (bass guitar, acoustic guitar, piano, ukulele, accordion). As one-half of the rhythm section, Arek is a great addition to providing the bass sound that defined CCR.
Ernie Craig – drums, backing vocals, washboard. Ernie has toured with a variety of musical acts for many years across North America. As the other half of the rhythm section, Ernie provides the much-needed groove, steady beat, and background vocals that is the heart of The CCR Band.
